Antineoplastic Drug Administration for Non-Cancer Areas

 Below, is a table outlining the recommended training for hospital aides (HA), enrolled nurses (EN) and registered nurses (RN) when managing people having chemotherapy.

The nurse educator/clinical nurse specialist in your area will be able to complete competency sign off with you.

There are no recertification requirements for these courses.

On completion, can perform the double independant check and administer oral chemotherapy ONLY

​Complete 3 modules, quiz & competency sign off
​EN - Restricted Scope

​eviQ ADAC course - Adult antineoplastic drug administration in the non-cancer setting (RGMC003)

On completion, can perform the double independant check with oral chemotherapy ONLY

​Complete 3 modules, quiz & competency sign off
​RN

​eviQ ADAC course - Adult antineoplastic drug administration in the non-cancer setting (RGMC003)

On completion, can check and administer chemotherapy related to the competency sign off that has been achieved. Depending on the area of work, this may be oral, topical, SC, IM and/or IV.
